Susan is a qualified accountant and corporate governance professional with over 25 years experience as a Business Consultant, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Company Secretary, Financial Controller and Accountant. Susan has worked with large, small, medium, Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) listed, private and not-for-profit organisations. She is also a Registered Tax Agent and an accredited Associate of the Institute for Independent Business.
Susan’s background is not just providing advice for businesses - she has spent the majority of her career working within business, partnering closely with all levels of staff and the executive team, and mentoring employees to achieve organisational goals.
Work experience
Susan has held executive and senior management roles with ITL Limited (innovative medical devices multinational), Catuity Inc. (software development dual listed in USA [NASDAQ] and Australia [ASX]), Royal College of Nursing, Australia (not-for-profit association), Maggi Shepherds (designer clothing Australia and USA) and Buttercup Bakeries (subsidiary of global food manufacturer). Prior to that Susan worked with public accountants, NCR Corporation (hardware & software sales) and has taught at College.
Skills
Susan has an indepth knowledge of all aspects of business finance, including external reporting, management information, treasury, fundraising, taxation and international transfer pricing, along with corporate governance, board meetings, corporate legal compliance and investor relations. Susan has managed information technology (IT), human resources (HR), property and general administration, and has also worked closely with senior management on sales and marketing. She has also participated in acquisitions.
Qualifications
Susan is a CPA, registered tax agent and Chartered Secretary. She also has a BA (Accounting), MBA (International Business) and Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance. Susan keeps her skills up to date by regularly participating in continuing professional development.

Susan is a CPA (member CPA Australia), ACIS (member Chartered Secretaries Australia), MAICD (member Australian Institute of Company Directors), and an AInstIB (accredited Associate of the Institute for Independent Business).
